The Tahlequah Tigers (Tahlequah, OK) basketball nipped the host Collinsville Cardinals (Collinsville, OK), 49-42 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers (19-2) will now prepare for their test against East Central (Tulsa, OK). The Cardinals go into the 5A District 3 test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, East Central got by Pryor (Pryor, OK), 33-32, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Grove for a 5A District 3 test on Saturday, February 3. Collinsville will encounter a Ridgerunners squad coming off a 43-25 league win over Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK). The Ridgerunners record now stands at 11-6.
