Covington Chargers (Covington, TN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Munford Cougars (Munford, TN), 39-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Covington upgrades its record to 10-14 on the campaign. The Chargers host Craigmont (Memphis, TN) to play the Chiefs in a 3A District 15 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Chiefs come into the bout with a record of 5-16. Craigmont lost 45-23 in their recent league bout against Millington Central (Millington, TN)
