Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks (Waverly, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA), 61-21 in a league bout.

With the victory, Waverly-Shell Rock upgrades its record to 20-0 on the campaign. The Go-Hawks travel to Gilbert (Gilbert, IA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 9-9. Gilbert lost 52-45 in their recent league bout against Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA)

Next up, the Cadets play the MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Crestwood will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 53-34 league win over South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA).
