The Lyon County Lyons basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Crittenden County Rockets to 51 in the Lyons league victory on Friday.

The Lyons now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Henderson County for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Lyon County will battle a Colonels team coming off a 56-35 non-league win over Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 15-6.

The Rockets (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Caldwell County prevailed over Trigg County (Cadiz, KY), 55-37, in a non-league contest.
