Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins (Vallejo, CA) and the host De Anza Dons (El Sobrante, CA), saw St. Patrick-St. Vincent's basketball squad hold off De Anza by a count of 2-0.

With the victory, St. Patrick-St. Vincent upgrades its record to 18-7 on the campaign.

Next up, the Dons play the Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) in a Tri-County - Rock challenge, on Monday, February 5. De Anza will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Pride come into the challenge with a 15-10 record after their 70-39 non-league loss to Pinewood (Los Altos Hills, CA).
