Mulberry Yellowjackets (Mulberry, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, AR), 37-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mulberry upgrades its record to 12-12 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to County Line (Branch, AR) to play the Indians in a 1A Region 1 West bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 6-18. County Line lost 27-21 in their recent league bout against Thaden (Bentonville, AR)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the County Line Indians (Branch, AR) in a 1A Region 1 West bout, on Friday, February 9. Decatur will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record.
