Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Waukon Indians (Waukon, IA), 62-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Decorah-North Winneshiek upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Vikings host Cascade (Cascade, IA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Cascade won 50-30 in their recent league bout against Bellevue (Bellevue, IA)

Next up, the Indians play the La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Waukon will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 6-14 record after their 67-33 non-league loss to Onalaska (Onalaska, WI).
