With the win, Deep Creek upgrades its record to 15-1 on the season. The Hornets host First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 6-11. First Colonial won 63-55 in their recent league bout against Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA)

Next up, the Braves clash with the Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Indian River will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 60-28 league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA).
