With the victory, Diboll upgrades its record to 17-14 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks host Huntington (Huntington, TX) to play the Red Devils in a 3A Region III District 21 challenge on Monday, February 5. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 28-6. Huntington won 35-24 in their recent league challenge against Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Woodville Eagles (Woodville, TX) in a 3A Region III District 21 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Newton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-13 record after their 42-37 league win over Pollok Central (Pollok, TX).
