Drummond Lumberjacks (Drummond, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mercer Tigers (Mercer, WI), 55-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Drummond upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to South Shore (Port Wing, WI) to play the Cardinals in a Northern Lights bout on Monday, February 5. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 19-1. South Shore won 75-25 in their recent league bout against Butternut (Butternut, WI)

Next up, the Tigers play the Hurley Northstars (Hurley, WI) in a Northern Lights bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Mercer will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record.
