The Echo Cougars basketball team (Echo, OR), was nudged 45-44 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Union Bobcats (Union, OR)
The Bobcats now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Echo for a 1A Old Oregon battle on Saturday, February 3.
The Cougars (15-5) will now prepare for their battle against Elgin (Elgin, OR). The Huskies come into the 1A Old Oregon battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Elgin edged Pilot Rock (Pilot Rock, OR), 52-41, in a league bout.
