California High School Basketball - El Diamante trounces Mt. Whitney

February 2, 2024: Visalia, CA 93277

The El Diamante Miners (Visalia, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA), 68-20 in Friday's league test.

The Miners (15-9) will now prepare for their test against Porterville (Porterville, CA). The Panthers go into the East Yosemite test with a 15-9 record. In their last test, Porterville walloped Golden West (Visalia, CA), 50-37, in a league test.

The Pioneers now own a 11-14 record. They play next when they host Monache for a East Yosemite test on Tuesday, February 6. Mt. Whitney will encounter a Marauders squad coming off a 62-59 non-league win over San Joaquin Memorial (Fresno, CA). The Marauders record now stands at 25-2.
