Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), saw Eldorado's basketball squad overcome West Mesa by a tally of 58-38.

With the victory, Eldorado improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Bears in a 5A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 14-5. La Cueva lost 51-39 in their recent league challenge against Farmington (Farmington, NM)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. West Mesa will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 49-41 league loss to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM).
