Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), 63-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Larkin upgrades its record to 16-12 on the season. The Royals travel to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL) to face the Hawks in a Upstate Eight game on Monday, February 5. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 14-15. Bartlett won 63-41 in their recent league game against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL)

With the defeat, Elgin moves to 9-20 on the year. The Maroons host Glenbard East (Lombard, IL) to face the Rams in a Upstate Eight game on Monday, February 5. The Rams enter the game with a record of 20-8. Glenbard East lost 46-22 in their recent league game against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL)
