The Washington Academy Raiders basketball team (East Machias, ME), was overwhelmed 91-33 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Ellsworth Eagles (Ellsworth, ME)
The Eagles now possess a 17-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Desert Island for a B North battle on Tuesday, February 6. Ellsworth will confront a Trojans team coming off a 52-25 league win over Houlton (Houlton, ME). The Trojans record now stands at 13-5.
The Raiders (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME). The Crusaders come into the B North battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, John Bapst Memorial was overwhelmed by Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), 49-46, in a league battle.
