The Rodriguez Mustangs basketball team (Fairfield, CA), was nudged 38-36 in Friday's league battle with the host Fairfield Falcons (Fairfield, CA)

The Falcons now possess a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wood for a Monticello Empire League battle on Wednesday, February 7. Fairfield will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 79-19 league win over Armijo (Fairfield, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-11.

The Mustangs (7-19) will now prepare for their battle against Vacaville (Vacaville, CA). The Bulldogs come into the Monticello Empire League battle with a 6-15 record. In their last battle, Vacaville was nudged by Vanden (Fairfield, CA), 79-20, in a league battle.
