Fairview Warriors (Fairview, MT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Harlem Wildcats (Harlem, MT), 54-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Fairview upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Warriors host Poplar (Poplar, MT) to play the Indians in a B District 2 bout on Saturday, February 3. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Poplar lost 56-53 in their recent league bout against Glasgow (Glasgow, MT)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Wolf Point Wolves (Wolf Point, MT) in a B District 2 bout, on Saturday, February 3. Harlem will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 58-40 league loss to Malta (Malta, MT).
