Flippin Bobcats (Flippin, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lincoln Wolves (Lincoln, AR), 58-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Flippin upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to West Fork (West Fork, AR) to play the Tigers in a 3A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 7-15. West Fork lost 69-14 in their recent league bout against Bergman (Bergman, AR)

Next up, the Wolves play the Elkins Elks (Elkins, AR) in a 3A Region 1 bout, on Friday, February 9. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record.
