The Thornapple Kellogg Trojans basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Forest Hills Eastern Hawks to 31 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Catholic Central for a Ottawa-Kent - Blue contest on Tuesday, February 6. Thornapple Kellogg will meet a Cougars team coming off a 54-32 league win over South Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 10-5.

The Hawks (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against South Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Sailors come into the Ottawa-Kent - Gold challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, South Christian was dropped by Catholic Central (Grand Rapids, MI), 54-32, in a league challenge.
