The Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA), 52-43 in Friday's league test.
The Vikings (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA). The Matadors go into the Santa Clara Valley - De Anza test with a 17-4 record. In their last test, Monta Vista notched a victory over Harker (San Jose, CA), 65-50, in a non-league contest.
The Firebirds (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA). The Wildcats enter the Santa Clara Valley - De Anza contest with a 19-2 record. In their last contest, Los Gatos ran past Los Altos (Los Altos, CA), 53-35, in a league contest.
