Scott Highlanders (Huntsville, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gibbs Eagles (Corryton, TN), 71-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Scott upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Cumberland Gap (Cumberland Gap, TN) to clash with the Panthers in a 3A District 4 bout on Saturday, February 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 14-8. Cumberland Gap lost 49-43 in their recent league bout against Clinton (Clinton, TN)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Union County Patriots (Maynardville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Gibbs will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record.
