R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Glenn Bobcats (Kernersville, NC), 41-39 in a league bout.

With the win, R.J. Reynolds upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Demons host East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A Central Piedmont bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-13. East Forsyth won 45-36 in their recent league bout against Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC)

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC) in a 4A Central Piedmont bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Glenn will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 70-39 league win over Davie (Mocksville, NC).
