Washington High School Basketball - Gonzaga Prep overwhelmed by Mead

The Mead Panthers basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the visiting Gonzaga Prep Bullpups to 59 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Spokane for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Mead will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 60-47 league loss to Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-15.
The Bullpups (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ferris (Spokane, WA). The Saxons come into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Ferris triumphed over North Central (Spokane, WA), 58-34, in a league contest.
