The Sands Mustangs tipped the visiting Grady Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 35-31 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Dawson Dragons (Welch, TX) in a 1A Region I District 8 game, on Tuesday, February 6. Sands will attempt to move on its 17-13 season record.
With the defeat, Grady moves to 3-13 on the year.
