The Grandview Zebras (Grandview, TX) basketball felled the visiting Maypearl Panthers (Maypearl, TX), 44-24 in Friday's league test.
The Zebras (26-6) will now prepare for their test against Whitney (Whitney, TX). The Wildcats go into the 3A Region III District 17 test with a 7-20 record. In their last test, Whitney was beaten by Keene (Keene, TX), 73-44, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 19-15 record. They play next when they host Clifton for a 3A Region III District 17 test on Tuesday, February 6. Maypearl will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 45-28 league loss to West (West, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 17-13.
