Georgia High School Basketball - Griffin trounces Jackson

February 2, 2024: Jackson, GA 30233

The Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) basketball crushed the host Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA), 55-25 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bears (15-9) will now prepare for their test against Spalding (Griffin, GA). The Jaguars go into the AAAA Region 2 test with a 15-9 record. In their last test, Spalding walloped Perry (Perry, GA), 56-50, in a league test.

The Red Devils now own a 5-19 record. They play next when they host Peach County for a AAA Region 2 test on Tuesday, February 6. Jackson will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 51-16 non-league win over Crisp County (Cordele, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 13-6.
