Texas High School Basketball - Guyer can't hold off McKinney

The McKinney Lions basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Guyer Wildcats to 53 in the Lions league victory on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 17-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prosper for a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, February 6. McKinney will battle a Eagles team coming off a 69-50 league win over Allen (Allen, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 25-9.
The Wildcats (9-20) will now prepare for their contest against Boyd (McKinney, TX). The Broncos come into the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 14-15 record. In their last contest, Boyd was nudged by Rock Hill (Frisco, TX), 43-39, in a league contest.
