In Friday's league outing, the Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT) basketball squad beat the visiting Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT), by a margin of 49-33.

The Noises (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Portland (Portland, CT). The Highlanders go into the Shoreline outing with a 1-14 record. In their last outing, Portland was beaten by Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT), 62-24, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Westbrook for a Shoreline outing on Monday, February 5. Old Lyme will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 61-33 league loss to Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Knights record now stands at 2-13.
