Liberty Hill Panthers (Liberty Hill, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hays Hawks (Buda, TX), 50-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Liberty Hill upgrades its record to 33-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Glenn (Leander, TX) to play the Grizzlies in a 5A Region IV District 25 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a record of 30-2. Glenn won 75-29 in their recent league bout against Rouse (Leander, TX)

Next up, the Hawks play the Lehman Lobos (Kyle, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 25 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Hays will attempt to upgrade on its 24-11 season record.
