Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Heritage Christian Academy Eagles (Maple Grove, MN), 54-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Spectrum upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Sting host Breck (Minneapolis, MN) to face the Mustangs in a non-league game on Monday, February 5. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 7-13. Breck won 61-44 in their recent non-league game against Harding (St. Paul, MN)

With the defeat, Heritage Christian Academy moves to 8-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Legacy Christian Academy (Andover, MN) to face the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 6. The Lions enter the game with a record of 18-3. Legacy Christian Academy won 39-23 in their recent league game against Mora (Mora, MN)
