Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA), 74-10 in a league bout.

With the victory, Honaker upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA) to play the Warriors in a Hogoheegee bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 6-11. Chilhowie won 51-17 in their recent league bout against Holston (Damascus, VA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Patrick Henry Rebels (Glade Spring, VA) in a Hogoheegee bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Northwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-20 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 3-16 record after their 59-20 league loss to Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA).
