The Huron River Rats basketball team (Ann Arbor, MI), was overwhelmed 68-27 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI)

The Trojans now possess a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saline for a Southeastern - Red battle on Tuesday, February 6. Monroe will battle a Hornets team coming off a 72-32 league win over Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 11-3.

The River Rats (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Bedford (Temperance, MI). The Kicking Mules come into the Southeastern - Red battle with a 10-1 record.
