Iowa High School Basketball - Independence ripped by Marion

The Marion Wolves basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Independence Mustangs to 20 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.
The Wolves now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Center Point-Urbana for a WAMAC - West contest on Tuesday, February 6. Marion will meet a Stormin' Pointers team coming off a 53-45 non-league win over West Delaware (Manchester, IA). The Stormin' Pointers record now stands at 7-12.
The Mustangs (3-16) will now prepare for their contest against Oelwein (Oelwein, IA). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Oelwein triumphed over Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA), 52-38, in a non-league contest.
