Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Irving Tigers (Irving, TX), 64-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Lake Highlands upgrades its record to 20-9 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Highland Park (Dallas, TX) to clash with the Scots in a 6A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Scots go into the bout with a record of 24-8. Highland Park won 44-21 in their recent league bout against Nimitz (Irving, TX)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Irving will attempt to upgrade on its 12-17 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 21-13 record after their 55-35 league win over Pearce (Richardson, TX).
