Seven Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Katy Tigers (Katy, TX), 85-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Seven Lakes upgrades its record to 26-8 on the season. The Spartans travel to Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX) to play the Cougars in a 6A Region III District 19 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 18-9. Cinco Ranch won 52-42 in their recent league bout against Katy (Katy, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Katy Taylor Mustangs (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region III District 19 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Katy will attempt to upgrade on its 19-10 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 28-5 record after their 64-48 league win over Paetow (Katy, TX).
