The Ringgold Tigers (Ringgold, GA) basketball nipped the host LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA), 47-44 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers (12-11) will now prepare for their test against Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA). The Trojans go into the AAA Region 6 test with a 4-20 record. In their last test, Gordon Lee was tipped by Bremen (Bremen, GA), 48-36, in a league test.

The Ramblers now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgeland for a AAA Region 6 test on Tuesday, February 6. LaFayette will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 54-52 league win over Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-13.
