Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), 63-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Starr's Mill upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Panthers host North Clayton (College Park, GA) to play the Eagles in a AAAA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 15-7. North Clayton won 65-22 in their recent league bout against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA)

Next up, the Grangers play the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) in a AAAA Region 4 bout, on Saturday, February 3. LaGrange will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 52-12 league win over Riverdale (Riverdale, GA).
