Trinity Collegiate Titans (Darlington, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats (Manning, SC), 51-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Trinity Collegiate upgrades its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC) to play the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Highlanders come into the bout with a record of 14-3. Heathwood Hall Episcopal won 84-33 in their recent league bout against Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC)

Next up, the Swampcats play the Wilson Hall Barons (Sumter, SC) in a SCISA AAAA Region II battle, on Friday, February 9. Laurence Manning Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Barons come into the battle with a 11-8 record after their 29-28 non-league win over Christian Academy (Myrtle Beach, SC).
