The Waupaca Comets basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Little Chute Mustangs to 26 in the Comets league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now sport a 5-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clintonville for a North Eastern contest on Tuesday, February 6. Waupaca will meet a Truckers team coming off a 58-10 league loss to Oconto Falls (Oconto Falls, WI). The Truckers record now stands at 3-17.

The Mustangs (0-19) will now prepare for their bout against Luxemburg-Casco (Luxemburg, WI). The Spartans come into the North Eastern bout with a 9-13 record. In their last bout, Luxemburg-Casco was crushed by Freedom (Freedom, WI), 27-17, in a league bout.
