Texas High School Basketball - Little Cypress-Mauriceville knocked off by Lumberton

The Lumberton Raiders basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears to 39 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 15-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bridge City for a 4A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Lumberton will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 52-45 league win over Vidor (Vidor, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 22-12.
The Bears (23-10) will now prepare for their contest against Jasper (Jasper, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Region III District 19 contest with a 1-27 record. In their last contest, Jasper was outscored by Silsbee (Silsbee, TX), 93-17, in a league contest.
