South-Doyle Cherokees (Knoxville, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Loudon Redskins (Loudon, TN), 60-38 in a league bout.

With the win, South-Doyle upgrades its record to 8-14 on the season. The Cherokees travel to Sequoyah (Madisonville, TN) to clash with the Chiefs in a 3A District 5 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 3-7.

Next up, the Redskins clash with the Tellico Plains Bears (Tellico Plains, TN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Loudon will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 74-46 league win over Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TN).
