Open Door Christian Academy Huskies (Troutdale, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lyle/Wishram Cougars (Lyle, WA), 44-19 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Open Door Christian Academy upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Damascus Christian (Damascus, OR) to play the Eagles in a Freelance bout on Friday, February 2. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Cougars play the Dufur Rangers (Dufur, OR) in a 1A Big Sky bout, on Saturday, February 3. Lyle/Wishram will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Rangers come into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 49-19 league loss to South Wasco County (Maupin, OR).
