In Friday's league outing, the Sequatchie County Indians (Dunlap, TN) basketball squad beat the host Marion County Warriors (Jasper, TN), by a count of 53-43.

The Indians (12-11) will now prepare for their outing against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences (Chattanooga, TN). The Patriots go into the 2A District 4 outing with a 5-19 record.

The Warriors now hold a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Polk County for a non-league outing on Monday, February 5. Marion County will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 73-26 league loss to McMinn Central (Englewood, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-13.
