The Marion Eagles overwhelmed the host Walkerville Wildcats basketball squad by a margin of 47-25 in Friday's league outing.

The Eagles (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Pentwater (Pentwater, MI). The Falcons go into the West Michigan D outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Pentwater was trounced by Brethren (Brethren, MI), 77-25, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Grand Traverse Academy for a non-league outing on Monday, February 5. Walkerville will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 62-18 non-league loss to St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-7.
