Georgia High School Basketball - McIntosh County Academy topped by Portal

The Portal Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers to 46 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bryan County for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Portal will battle a Redskins team coming off a 61-33 league win over Savannah (Savannah, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 19-3.
The Buccaneers (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Charlton County prevailed over Clinch County (Homerville, GA), 47-41, in a league contest.
