Mechanicsburg Wildcats (Mechanicsburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Palmyra Cougars (Palmyra, PA), 35-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Mechanicsburg upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Northern York (Dillsburg, PA) to play the Polar Bears in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 20-0. Northern York won 55-10 in their recent league bout against Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Milton Hershey Spartans (Hershey, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Keystone bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Palmyra will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record.
