In Friday's non-league outing, the South Amboy Governors (South Amboy, NJ) basketball squad felled the visiting Middlesex County Vo-Tech Hornets (Woodbridge, NJ), by a margin of 39-27.
The Governors (7-14) will now prepare for their outing against Mother Seton (Clark, NJ). The Setters go into the Greater Middlesex - Blue outing with a 12-5 record. In their last outing, Mother Seton was beaten by Dunellen (Dunellen, NJ), 38-15, in a league outing.
The Hornets now own a 1-12 record.
