The San Angelo Central Bobcats basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Midland Bulldogs to 28 in the Bobcats league victory on Friday.

The Bobcats now sport a 21-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Odessa for a 6A Region I District 2 contest on Tuesday, February 6. San Angelo Central will battle a Bronchos team coming off a 70-20 league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Bronchos record now stands at 11-22.

The Bulldogs (13-17) will now prepare for their contest against Permian (Odessa, TX). The Panthers come into the 6A Region I District 2 contest with a 11-17 record. In their last contest, Permian was defeated by Midland Legacy (Midland, TX), 38-25, in a league contest.
