Warwick Wildcats (Warwick, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY), 54-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Warwick upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY) to play the Dragons in a Section 9 Orange County II bout on Monday, February 5. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Cornwall Central won 53-40 in their recent league bout against Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY)

Next up, the Panthers play the Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 36-26 non-league win over Onteora (Boiceville, NY).
