In Friday's league outing, the Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD) basketball squad beat the visiting Mt. Hebron Vikings (Ellicott City, MD), by a count of 47-30.

The Scorpions (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 9-10 record. In their last outing, St. Mary's Ryken was topped by Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC), 68-41, in a league outing.

The Vikings now hold a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hammond for a Howard County outing on Monday, February 12.
